Hi!
I am trying to delete a file that i had used to create a msi, I am getting the error http://www.geocities.com/nadeemajl/err1, when i try to delete the resource under the component I dont get the delete opetion from the context menu since it is a key resource for that component http://www.geocities.com/nadeemajl/err2 , I cannot delete the key resource or the component , can anyone please help me.

Hi,
The reason you cannot delete the file is because you probably referenced that file somewhere else in the application, like a custom action. Check the application and remove the reference to that file and you will be able to delete it.
The "Delete" tool bar button from the "Organization" pane is used to remove features (these features must not contain any components in order to be deleted).
You cannot remove regular components or the files contained in those components. Only shared (contained in two features) components can be removed.
