Synchronized folder

Wed Aug 18, 2021 2:24 pm

I was reading the tutorial https://www.advancedinstaller.com/user ... onize.htmland i need help with this:

if the files and folders in the synchronized folder on the disk change, this change is also made in the synchronized folder from your project.
if you add regular files and folders in a synchronized folder, these elements will not be affected by the synchronization.

what are regular files and folders?

Hello,

Regular files and folders means a 'normal' file. For instance, if you synchronize the "Application Folder" with a folder from your disk containing 3 .TXT files and then manually add a 4th .TXT file from another location, the 4th file will not be synchronized.

This means if i add manually in the Application folder in the advanced installer (not on synchronized disk folder if i add there expect it will be sinhronized ).

Thanks for your response

Thanks for your time and response this is actually as a expected one-way synchronization disk folder to the Advanced Installer folder.
I was actually confused from "synchronized folder" sentence because for both folders (disk and advanced installer folder) we can say "synchronized folder", but now is much clear.
