Advanced Installer is the only tool that allows you to debug desktop applications inside an UWP container using Visual Studio 2015, not just 2017.
Dedicated GUI for Advanced Configuration

Advanced Installer is here to help you stay on top of all your packaging and deployment challenges, collaborating with the Microsoft teams along the way.
Updater for Modern Packages
Our classic Auto-Updater has been upgraded for Windows 10 and UWP. Now you can use it to automatically update sideloaded MSIX/AppX packages.
Use our EXE Bootstrapper to wrap your MSIX/AppX (Desktop Bridge) packages, so in the eventuality that your customers are using an older system than Windows 10, an MSI package will be installed instead. This way you can safely begin to migrate to the new packaging standard.
