Advanced Installer 1.8 Release Notes

On August 9th, 2004 Caphyon Ltd. is proud to announce the release of Advanced Installer 1.8 in Free, Professional, Enterprise and Architect editions. This release is available for download on the Advanced Installer website.

Version 1.8 adds the ability to create installers that will check if prerequisite applications are present on the target machine and optionally download and install them. Supported are: Java Runtime Environment, .NET Framework, Visual Basic Script Engine, DirectX and more, together with user-defined applications.
