Hi There,

Thanks for the advice, I applied the version changes however now whenever I try to load back the .aip file it fails to load with the following error 'Exception - Current context does not contain an instance of this component [id ReadOnly]'

Please help :shock:

I am sure that there is a real simple answer to this (he hopes). I have been having problems wereby if a user has our application running and they try and install they get told to reboot (which I expect) but on restart the updated install files are not put in place. The only way to ...

Install on Citrix

Hi All,

I wonder if anyone can help, I have a client who is installing our program on Citrix, the application works fine untill the user logs of an back on again the next day. I am wondering if there is anything special I need to know about MSI installs for citrix.

Include Pre-Requsite install with another install

Hi There,

I have a prerequiste check for a program, when this prerequisite is not found I would like to run an MSI, but I would like to bundle this MSI as part of the current install, please can you advise if i can do this.

Hi Gigi,

I understand the thoery of what you say however in reality it proves a little tricky.

As the INI file is not an installed file but one that is created during the install (by the parameters set in the ini editor panel) the ini file in question does not display in the Organisation window ...

Hi Gigi,

Thanks for the reply, i have tried it on 2 different computers using with two different installs and get the same results.

Here are the steps I am taking

1) Create a blank professional install
2) Add in a single executable
3) Use the new ini file menu to create a new ini file

Many thanks for the command line parameter. Is there a way of passing in that the installer should use the programfiles folder

i.e something line

APPDIR=%ProgramFilesFolder%\myapp\
