In the update.txt file, there is an MD5 hash and a file size stored for the MSI installer. When updater.exe downloads update.txt, it checks the file size against the previously downloaded (cached) MSI. Request: Default URL in update projects
When creating an update, we right-click, select "New Update", and choose the installer MSI. We then have to edit the Main URL textbox to use the correct URL for the updater.
This manual process is fraught with problems (mis-typed URls and such).
