Hi,
I want to create a simple registry key value as below (string) only if its not found or data is empty.
Path : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Softwares\MyApp
Value Name : AppConfig
Data: XXXYYYZZZ
Sounds like a simple thing but I cant find any option in setup editor.

Ok I was able to fix my issue by doing the following settings
Create custom action (run vb script)
Make sure you change "Execution option" to "Deferred with no impersonation"
and
On Media -> Boot straper ->Secrity -> Change "Require Admin"

Hi I am using Enterprise Ed of Advanced Installer.
