Corrupted .CAB disk1.cab on Windows Server 2003

Hi,

Some of my projects bulit on Advanced Installer Enterprise 7.6.1 gives me the error i mentioned when i try to install them on Windows Server 2003 (Error image attached). It was tested with 3 different machines with Windows Server 2003 and all of them gives me the same error. I made i search on the forum and i've found that this might happen because windows installer on the OS might be corrupted, but since it was tested on 3 different machines, i think we can rule that out.

The same setup file that gives error on Windows Server 2003 works just fine on Windows Vista. The solution i found was to keep rebuilding the project until it does not give me error on Server 2003. Of course thats not nice since sometimes i have to do this several times until it works.

Oh, and by the way, this also happened on previous versions of Advanced Installer. I've been using it since the last builds of version 6 i think.

Looking forward for a solution.

Thank you,
Alex

Hello Alex,

Please end your .aip project file or a stripped down version that accurately reproduces this behavior to support at advancedinstaller dot com so we can further investigate.

Best regards,
Gabriel
