Yes, that looks helpful. At least they will be easier to access together. Maybe one day your devs will merge the two tabs into one project.

I know that I had not changed the URL or file location for the updater file. They had been unchanged for days.

Hi Catalin, I am not sure what you mean by more modern themes for EXE installers. I found out that even with MSI installers I can choose from a huge list of fancy themes and colors. (I used to think I was limited to a dozen or so, but as far as I can see, I can use anything from the big list.)

I agree the -minuseractions option is documented in the list with all the other options (I saw it there). And the doc also says, "this option can be used with /checknow."
But my point was that there is no documentation on How to Check For Updates on Every App Boot Without Flickering Dialogs.

Sorry to say, but I deleted that broken project file. If AI loses the elements somehow, I don't want to waste another minute of my time hacking registry settings. I deleted the file long ago and made a whole new project from scratch.

I understand that they are currently two different projects. I am just suggesting that they don't have to be.
You could keep the separate Updater project type if you liked.

Just a follow-up to my earlier statement that I was going to use EXE installers.
I tried them and had FOUR dialogs that flickered up before the main Welcome dialog. Ugh!

Hi, yes, you are correct. I am now using "/checknow -minuseractions" to check every time the app boots.
In case your devs are looking for extra things to do, the magic sequence "/checknow -minuseractions" is NOT described in the documentation anywhere.
And setting the check frequency days to 0 ...
