We are in a stage of testing our application in Windows 10. We ran into the trouble where after uninstalling a newer product and try running an older installer, we still get the newer version installed message.
At this point the app was uninstalled but an entry remains in the control ...

We had a requirement that multiple versions of a product could be installed in the same machine.
Rather than creating a new project file. I copied the existing one, changed the product name and re-generated all codes in order for it to be considered as a different product.
They all install correctly ...

Background Image Scaled in Confirmation Dialog
When we use scaling of the background image for the Surface Theme, it works well with the OS' image scaling.
But in the Cancel Confirmation Dialog, it is also scaled and since the Confirmation Dialog box is smaller. The image is scaled to be smaller which is an undesirable behavior.

Unfortunately, we have discovered some cases that this will not work. Some binaries will be not installed when the version is older.
It seems that its not possible to workaround this issue using the aforementioned methods.

[*]Go to the Upgrades page and enable the Customize Advanced Installer upgrade rules option;

I was able to get the behavior that I want - being able to install any version of the app even when an existing one is installed - by adding "Allow side by side installs of different product versions" together with your suggestions.
It works in the case where the user always use the default ...

Tried this but was getting, "A more recent version of **** is already installed on this computer."
Makes sense since the settings does not seem to allow old versions to be installed when a newer version already exist.

Advanced Installer uses the version number to be able to determine if it can perform an upgrade.
During the upgrade we can let it automatically uninstall the old then install the new.
But is there a way for it to do the same operation regardless of version?

Invalid digital signature because offline
We are distributing software and a customer cannot install and it returns invalid digital signature.
After some investigation we figured out that it was because the desktop is offline (has no Internet connection),it cannot verify the digital signature.
For their own reasons they will not connect it ...
