SQLExpress as prerequisite

Hello,

for our application we need the SQLExpress database edition (newer version of MSDE), and the .Net Framework 2.0.

The problem is, that the SQLExpress itself need the ServicePack 2 on Windows XP or the ServicePack 4 on Windows 2000 as prerequisite. If I want to add the OS-ServicePack as ...

IIS Virtual Directory Documents

Hello,

after creation of new virtual directory I have to add a new default document, like the existing defaults (index.htm, default.ham, ...).

Hope that this is possible!

Force IIS Installation

Hello,

for our application IIS is required. It's no problem to check wether IIS is installed on the system. But if IIS is not installed, how can I force to start IIS installation from my installation?

Thx,

MySql as prerequisites

Hello,

I need to install the MySql 4.x Database as prerequisites. Do you have a complete solution to do this?
The problem is, that the MySql-setup is not build as a MSI package!

Thx,

Hello,

sorry for answering so late, but I didn't get a mail about your answer.

I need this feature to better organize my setup. If I want organize my components in features it's not very comfortable if my components have names like file1, file2, file3, ...

Maybe you can take this as a feature ...

Rename Component

Hello,

I'm currently testing the Advanced Installer.

Is it possible to rename Components (in Organization), which has been created by the Installer?

I didn't find a way to rename any component.

Thx,
