Updater scheduled task problem

I am trying to configure updater for a product. If I select "Automatic: using a Windows Scheduled task" option under "Updater execution", a scheduled task is created and executed but I get this:

update.info is on the server, I can download it by copying "Updates configuration file URL" from the updater tab in the AI and pasting it to the browser address bar.

I have a /silentall in Task Properties / Application / Command line and /qn in update config file command line as suggested here: viewtopic.php?t=26104

If I change "Configure for: Windows XP, Windows 2000 or older" from Task properties / Attributes, which is selected by default, to "Windows 10", the task is created and executed but updater.exe hangs forever (I can see it in the Task Manager) and nothing happens.

Re: Updater scheduled task problem

Please stand by. It looks like there is a HTTP redirect on the server. I will let you know if it started working after I change it to no redirect URL.

Re: Updater scheduled task problem

It wasn't a redirect since the problem persisted after I eliminated it, but that pushed me further to sniffing network traffic and I found out that the installer URL in the update configuration file had a typo. Embarrassing :|. Thank you.

Hello,

Thank you for your followup on this.

I am glad you were able to find the culprit here. :)
