Advanced Installer Failing during Flushing to Disk when creating install program.

Hi,

Using Windows 10 x64 Pro (Version 2004).
Advanced Installer Enterprise 17.6 and 17.4.

When trying to create an installing program using Advanced Installer, Advanced Installer fails when Flushing To Disk.

I get no errors displayed on the screen.

Advanced Installer just closes with no indication of what the problem may be.


Is there a log file I can look at to see what the problem may be?

This is quite strange, indeed.

We have ran a few tests on our end and everything seemed to be working as expected.
When trying to create an installing program using Advanced Installer, Advanced Installer fails when Flushing To Disk.
If I understand correctly, by "Flushing to Disk" you mean that Advanced Installer fails when trying to build your setup (please correct me if I'm wrong)?
I get no errors displayed on the screen.
If my above assumtion is right, you should be able to see the "Build" dialog (where the steps of the build process are displayed), e.g.:

Normally, if an error occurs, here is the place to see it. Does this dialog not appear? Or does the dialog appear, but it displays no error and then suddenly closes?
Is there a log file I can look at to see what the problem may be?
Unfortunately, there is not. Usually, as mentioned above, the errors are displayed in that "Build" dialog.

You can try, however, to have a look over the Event Viewer. You might be able to find some useful information there.

Lastly, are you able to replicate this behavior on multiple machines, or is it specific to one machine only?
