Sign Updater.exe
Hello, I am trying to digitially sign the updater.exe so it matches the msi and application files. I manually signed the updater located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Caphyon\Advanced Installer 16.7\stubs\x86 which is what the installer uses before packaging and the signature is wiped out when built and installed. Also, the ui in advanced installer has the check box disabled in the properties so I am unable to do it there.

Hello,
In the latest versions of Advanced Installer, the updater.exe will automatically be signed with your certificate.
This can be seen in the "Digital Signature" page --> "Files configured for signing" tab.
In older versions, if you'd like to sign the updater, you can manually add it there and it will be signed. It is not recommended to sign the one from the folder as you did.

Thank you. I removed my signing of the AI updater.exe and was able to find that I can manually add to the Files Configured for Signing by right clicking on the box. Once I did that and built, the updater was signed correctly.
