The above script result in an error While upgarding to the two versions .When we upgrade the build versions in the advanced installer version 14.0.2 it does not result in error but we upgarde the build versions in the advanced installer 14.0.2 to 20.0 it results in error .
The error is : There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action DeleteService, location: C:\Windows\Installer\MSI452E.tmp, command: /EnforcedRunAsAdmin /RunAsAdmin "C:\Users\ASWATH~1\AppData\Local\Temp\DeleteService_APW.vbs" C:\Users\ASWATH~1\AppData\Local\Temp\DeleteService_APW.vbs

When I upgrade a previous build version to a new version the installation will result in an error and cannot finish the installation.
The error is : There is a problem with the windows installer package .A program run as part of the set up did not finished as expected. Contact your support personnal or package vendor

The above message indicates that one of your custom actions is failing.
However, which custom action is failing I can not really tell unless we have a look over the log file.
In order to create in installation log file, please have a look over the following article: How do I create a log file.
After doing so, please send that to me at support at advancedinstaller dot com together with a copy of your AIP file.
If you first manually uninstall the first version, does everything work as expected?
If so, I think the problem might arise from a custom action that tries to execute on the uninstall of the first version after the resources referred by the custom action were removed.

Yes the problem is in the custom action called delete service .I modified that custom action by un checking a check box in upgarde option of execution stage condition . Great thanks for your reply.
