Where are fonts installed?

It appears that windows has made a change. In the past, fonts were installed under C:/WIndows/Fonts.

They now seem to be (in some cases) installed under user's accounts - so c:\users\(some user name)\appdata\local\microsoft\windows\fonts

this has been causing headaches for us. How do we install fonts now?

Hello Eric,

The "problem" here, I think, is the installation type - per-user or per-machine.

A per-user installation installs the fonts in AppData, while the per-machien installs it in C:\Windows\Fonts.

I think this has always been the case, it's not something new.
