Update Project date format

I noticed the output update.txt file format the release date in dd/mm/yyyy. Can you make it to use regional date format from the OS?
I was expecting it to output mm/dd/yyyy when I select the release date from the datetime picker.
Thanks,

Hi,

Please note that Advanced Installer cannot be localized. Also, I'm not sure why this bothers you since the Updates Configuration File is generated automatically by Advance Installer.

Note that this date is used only internally and it will not be visible to the user.

Yes, I understand the information is not shown to the user and I know the update.txt generated automatically. The date format might not bother you since you're used to it in Europe. However, it is not so in US. I always check the update.txt file before release to make sure the correct settings is in place. It is a habbit and has nothing to do with trusting your software to produce the correct file.
I am simply making a suggestion to use OS date format string but if it can't be done that is fine.

Hi,

I have added this modification on our TODO list and it will be available in a future version of Advanced Installer.

Thank you for your suggestion.
