Custom vm options read from a file?

Hi folk!

We have a number of users used to editing a APP.vmoptions file (where APP is the application name) to adjust the options passed to the jvm on startup .. this is provided by Install4j. I'd like to be able to do the same thing with AI in the MSI. Is this possible? In other words, leave it up to the end users and/or admins to adjust the jvm settings to their liking? I'm not tied to the name .vmoptions. Would be fine with telling them to use another filename if that's an option. Does this feature already exist?

Thanks!

Hi,

This feature is already supported through the INI file used by the Java Launcher. In order to modify the options for the JVM the user will simply open the INI file with a text editor and make the necessary modifications.
