making registry entries in scrambled format

Hi!
Iam trying to evaluate AdvInst for creating an install package for one of our applications. I would like the installer to make a registry entry of a key/value in a scrambled format or just unreadable. Can AdvInst do this? Which feature of AdvInst must I use to do this. Thank you.

What exactly do you mean by "scrambled format"? AdvInst will install whatever you put in the "value" field of the registry entry.

Put it scrambled - and scrambled it will be installed.

No, there is no way to make Windows Installer do the scrambling, you have to do that yourself.

You can use a Search action to look for a file on the target computer. Put the result in a property and use it in a Condition.
