Hi all,
Well im creating a Java product .. i have bundled it in a exectable JAR file .. my problem is i would like to create a new extension something like ( .sur ) . So once this type of extension file it double clicked it should open in my application. But im experencing a problem in this ..
can anyone help me in this situation how to open the particular file when it is double clicked.

Hi,
You must add the .jar file to the "Files and Folder" page.
Go to "Java Products" page and create a new product ("New Product" button).
Go to "File Association" page ->"New Extension" button, and select your application.
Name the extension: sur
and use "New Verb" button to add a open action for that type of files. You can leave that verb at the default values. It will work.
