I'm going to buy advanced installer for my applications. Please could you tell me if it include the intalian language.

Sorry, but Advanced Installer does not yet create localized packages. This feature is planned and being worked on, but it is not ready yet.

I see in the forum that about an year ago you scheduled the multi-language support, but I still don't see it...

So I would like to have a sure date.

We cannot give a sure-exact date because the chance to miss it is just too great.

But we are working exclusively on i18n support right now and we expect it to be ready in a couple of months.

I found the following line, in the .aip project files. It seems to refer to one of the MSI localization parameters :

<ROW Property="ProductLanguage" Value="1036"/>

Since your application uses the MSI standards, isn't it possible to change the required parameters manually (for example, putting 1035 which is the french code, according to MS) if we put the french msi creation package files from Microsoft.. or something in this way. ?

As Francesco, My compagny is about to buy your solution, but the ability of creating french packages is an important point for us.

That would be a hack - and it probably would't work.

Good news though: the 3.0 version was just released, fully supporting MSI packages in languages other than English. Italian is already included, the French translation is under works and will be ready for the next release (3.1).
