GPO + Windows installer 3

has anyone tried deploying a windows installer 3 package via GPO With Windows 2000 SP4 ?

I cant seem to get any to even be recognised into AD let alone deploy them.

Have you installed the lastest Windows Installer on your Domain controllers?

If you have the Admin pack for your Windows XP workstation, you may be able to at least assign the package from your workstation until you get the servers up to the latest installer.
