Is there a way to associate file types with the installed application
e.g if a user right-mouse clicks on a file along with open and print the name of the packaged application appears in the list?
to do this manually you would perform the following steps
open Windows Explorer
Tools / Folder Options / File Types
select the file type
select Advanced / New
and then locate the .exe file for the application
I am using the basic version of Advanced Installer

Hi,
I'm afraid that this is not supported by the Free version of Advanced Installer. However, it can be done in the Professional, For Java and Enterprise versions through the File Associations page. Please note that the User Guide contains a tutorial which explains how to use this feature.
