Repackager: Scan on Demand

Every computer that is on our network has 3 programs that require machine restarts (for registry/windows file finalizing and whatnot)after installing and when replacing computers this seems to drag on for almost a whole day.

Is it possible to make the repackager scan at the beginning, and than scan again after the machine has been restarted following the programs' installs?

AI works amazing for everything that doesn't require restarts, just would like to use it for the installs that force me to reboot after the install.

Re: Repackager: Scan on Demand

Hi,

The Repackager can do what you need through snapshots. When running the Repackager wizard, you will see a System Snapshots page. In this page you can check the "Save system snapshots on disk after installation capture is completed" option in order to save a snapshot of the system before the installations. After the installations are performed, you can run the Repackager again and use the saved snapshot (the "Start an installation capture from an existing saved system snapshot" option).
