Hi,

I am trying to import a registry record and the advanced installer imports it badly.

A Variable...
From:
c:\orant\NLSRTL33\DATA
To:
[WindowsVolume]orant[StartupFolder]NLSRTL33[StartupFolder]DATA

Then when installed it becomes to:
c:\orantc:\documents and settings....\NLSRTL33c:\documents and settings....\DATA

How to fix i??

Hi,

I'm not sure I understand the problem you are encountering. Can you please give me more details about this? Are you importing a REG file into the project? If so, can you please post the part with the problem?

Please note that you can fix the path by setting it to:

I know that I can fix manually all paths... but it's a big registry file, and I fell that I will be mistaked in more than one variable surely.

We tested the registry import feature with some of the registry values you are using, but unfortunately we are unable to reproduce this behavior. Are you using a .REG file or are you adding the entries using the "Add Values" or "Add Key" options? If you are using a .REG file, can you please send it to support at advancedinstaller dot com so we can investigate it? Also, please send us the .AIP (project) file you are using.
