Adding UpgradedImages table rows hangs

Hello,

I'm trying to create a patch. I started with my own program and tried adding some files and building a patch. It hung on "Adding UpgradedImages table rows." In fact, I left it overnight, only to return this morning in the same spot.

I did some digging and found the story tutorial http://www.advancedinstaller.com/user-g ... patch.html

I followed the tutorial.

I selected the 1.0.1 as the Upgrade and 1.0.0 as the Target.
Saved my patch aip file.
When I click build, it moves very quickly to the "Creating MSP" step but once again hangs on the"Adding UpgradedImages table rows"

I'm running this on a 64bit Vista machine if that offers any other information.

Looks like it might be an admin issue on Vista? I just tried this on my XP machine (which is 32-bit) and I noticed that it launched a command window when UpgradedImages came up. I didn't see that happen in Vista.

Edit:
Apparently not the issue. I right clicked and chose "Run as Administrator" and it still wouldn't create my MSP in Vista-64 bit. Anyone else have this issue?

Hi,

I'm not sure why this happens. Can you please send us the .AIP (project) files of the target and upgraded images and for the patch to support at advancedinstaller dot com so we can investigate them?
