not packing install files

Our windows install lives on the same CD with our mac install. Both installations share a common content directory. I want to install this content directory at install time without having them packed into the main windows install file. It is also important that the user be able to browse the content directory on the CD. Also, can I include a check mark in a dialog box so the user can pick if he want to install this content or not?

Dear Griffon,

I am afraid that your requirements are beyond the current Advanced Installer capabilities.

It only creates packed installs (inside msi or cab files). And there is no possibility to include checkmarks in dialog boxes yet. There will be, in 1.5, but only for starting the app or a readme at the end of the install.

We have added your request to our todo list and we will strive to implement the required capabilities in the future versions of Advanced Installer.

All the best,
Cata
