I am attempting to install this as a prerequisite file:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/ ... P2_x86.exe
(.NET Framework 2.0 SP2)
The installation fails as it attempts to install the prerequisite:
"The windows installer service is unavailable. Another application may be running setup. Finish any installations in progress, or restart your comptuer, then re-run setup"
It would appear that the .exe prerequisite contains an MSI and that the system will not allow the MSI prerequisite to run at the same time as the main MSI ?

Did you add the .NET Framework installer as a prerequisite? If you did, can you please send us the .AIP (project) file you are using to support at advancedinstaller dot com so we can investigate it?

Yes it is a prerequisite. We have emailed the file now.
