Trying to create multiple cab installation and it fails.

Hello again
I trying to create installation with AdvInstaller 8.1.3.
Here is my project. The original files for installation is about 4.7GB and total amount of files is about 25000, I setup to split into cab files (about 500MB each one), but build process continues to fail with error:
Exception - Exception - CAB Format limit reached. The CAB file size is limited to 2GB, you can`t have more than 64K files in a CAB and you can`t compress files that are larger than 2GB.
I had tried different sizes and cabs number - but nothing helps me - AI is always is triying to create 1 cab and exceed 2GB limit.

P.S. do not propose me to enable bootstrapper, i have requirement no any exe-files.

Hi,

I'm not sure how you configured your project. Can you please send it to support at advancedinstaller dot com so we can investigate it?

Re: Trying to create multiple cab installation and it fails.

I used Advanced Layout and manually separate files per cabs. It solves the problem.

P.S. U can close the topic.
