Hello!
I'm having serious trouble installing adv inst 1.5 using the msi file. My machine is a Win XP pro.
When I click Install when prompted I get the following error message:
"The system cannot open the device or file specified"
Pressing retry doesn't work and when pressing cancel the following message is displayed:
"The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2755."
Is there anyone on this forum that knows the cause of this problem?

Hi again!
I solved the problem. There was something wrong with the permissions to the directory called "Installer" located under /winnt/.
Also I ran the installationprogram from this location and everything worked.
