create exe or msi?

Installing seems to work better if I execute the exe file instead of the msi file directly. Is there a way to combine both into one? Otherwise, do both the exe and msi files need to be downloaded by the user?

You can set the .MSI to be included in the .EXE from the "EXE Bootstrapper Tab" in Media page.
