Upgrading the previous version(created by AI)was not working

Hi,

We tried to upgrade the previous version(created by AI)was not working.

We followed the instructions which you have specified in your User Guide.

Older version files were replaced successfully, but older version registry key was not cleared and older version details were still shown in Add/Remove Programs.

Could you please help us.

Have you followed the steps described in the Upgrades Page user guide article?

Older version files were replaced successfully, but older version registry key was not cleared and older version details were still shown in Add/Remove Programs.

This means the older version was not removed completely. If you followed the above steps, please send us the consecutive versions projects (target and upgraded) to support at advancedinstaller dot com and expand on the upgrade scenario a little more.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. Earlier, we tried to increase the fourth digit value only (1.2.0.6 to 1.2.0.7), its causing the issue. Now, we increased the version value as 1.2.1.7, its working fine.
