Please, please, please fix SEARCH!

AI folks,

Everytime I try to search the forums, I get this:

"The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: <word>"

I know this is not a feature request of the product. But, I'm a noob to this, and my questions are basic. I'm sure they have been asked before.
I just can't find them.

Thanks a bunch
Jimmy

Re: Please, please, please fix SEARCH!

try the box in the top right corner, Google powered site search.
For me this works very well, if I put some senseful search words...

Yes, the Google Custom search should be used. The built-in search from the forums provided by phpBB is less powerful and as much as we try to improve it the the one from Google is still better.

Best regards,

Hello Mohsin and welcome to Advanced Installer forums,

Thank you for your interest in Advanced Installer.

The recommended way to search through our forums is by using the "Google Custom Search" search box from the top right section of the page. This will search the typed in keywords through all our forums content.

All the best,
Daniel
