Cannot update exe, and disable Finish button

Hello, Professional edition

Projects files
http://aimp.coolverse.jp/Projects.zip

I always use constant file date only, then I always must delete to cache files.
Maybe... bug ... I think
1. Add files [exe] (Ver1.21)
2. Infomation Ver1.21
3. Build installer
4. run installer, and finish
5. run exe, display "Version 1.20" Why?

and

Install and uninstall, disable finish button rarely.
This is ciritical bug.

and ... Update only, but need uninstall. I must do check to dialog where AIS? ...

Thank you
Daniel

Re: Cannot update exe, and disable Finish button

Hello and welcome to Advanced Installer forums,

Thank you for your interest in Advanced Installer.
Maybe... bug ... I think
1. Add files [exe] (Ver1.21)

3. Build installer
4. run installer, and finish
5. run exe, display "Version 1.20" Why?
You may encounter this behavior because of a known Windows Installer bug related to file versioning rules. Can you enable the "Always overwrite existing file" option from "File Properties -> Operations" tab and see if the behavior still persist?
Install and uninstall, disable finish button rarely.
This is ciritical bug.
Can you send us a detailed step by step test case scenario so we can try to reproduce and investigate the behavior? Also, can you tell us what is your target machine software configuration (i.e. Windows version, service pack, Windows Installer version, OS language)?
and ... Update only, but need uninstall. I must do check to dialog where AIS? ...
I'm afraid I don't fully understand what you mean. Can you give us more details about this (maybe exemplify)?

All the best,
Daniel
