One day courses?

One of the problems of developing an application is that you live with it for years and it is very difficult to see it through the eyes of a newcomer. Doubtless that is true of my application too

Accordingly, you could consider recruiting a team of average programmers to try out the package (not expert programmers) while you watch - I suspect you would be surprised at the problems they encounter. I think I have it just about sussed out now but Advanced Installer is so huge that it is easy to get baffled and not realise the cross links (you change A and that means you need to change B or possibly AI will do it for you)

Another possibility is a one day course in major cities eg London, New York, LA etc. I would attend a course in London. You could then offset the course charge against purchase of a package ...

Re: One day courses?

Hi,

The method of taking a colleague developer and having to use Advanced Installer is something that we have tried in the past, but not as often as we should
unfortunately. We try to get as much feedback as possible from our users when defining new features, but some of them can only be improved over multiple iterations.

Regarding the courses, maybe in the future, but we have not short-term plans for this. I will try to organize a poll and see if we can gather enough interested
users for some of these locations.

Best regards,
Bogdan

Thank you! Put me down for London or Manchester, UK. At a pinch, I could probably get to Eastern Europe given enough time - maybe Prague which is a beautiful city

Many hotels will give you a free room just to get people in there (outside tourist season especially)
