Can anyone help.
I am trying to remove an exe from the files list, but it will not allow me to delete it and gives the error message as follows
Cannot remove file: it is referenced from another component.
Its not and I need to get rid of it.

Hi,
An .exe file is referenced by another component if:
1) it is used as a custom action, or
2) it is set to be launched at the end of the installation (in the Installation Complete dialog properties from the Dialogs view).
You need to remove it from these two places first to be able to remove it from the Files View.
