Updates Adding Mulitple Instances to Installed Programs (II)

I've found the following topic 'Updates Adding Multiple Instances to Installed Programs' in the forum and I still have the same problem.
For product version we use the following format: 00.00.000.

I'd appreciate your assistance.

Thanks,
Oren

Hello,

I'm not sure I fully understand what you want to do.

Can you please give us more details about your scenario?
Also, can you please give us the post's url which you mentioned about?

Best regards,

Re: Updates Adding Mulitple Instances to Installed Programs

Hello,

I want that every time a new version is installed, it will replace the old version and also remove the old version instance from the 'Add/Remove Programs'.

Here is a post I've found here about this problem : http://www.advancedinstaller.com/forums ... ing#p49252.
I've done as explained in the post but I still have a problem.
Also, I've upgraded Advanced Installer to the latest version before posting this problem.

- For product version we use the following format: 00.00.000
- Not sure if it's relevant, but the Theme used is Surface.

Please notify me if you need any additional information.

Thanks,
Oren

Re: Updates Adding Mulitple Instances to Installed Programs

Hello,

I'm not sure why you encountered this behavior. I've tested your scenario but I can not reproduce.

Can you please send us the .AIPs (projects file of the upgrade package and the upgraded package) to support at advancedinstaller dot com so we can investigate them?
Also, can you give us a step by step test case scenario so we can try to reproduce and investigate the problem?

Best regards,
Dan
