Some questions....

Hi,

for our new product version I want clean up our AI-project and there're some things that I don't know/understand....

- At the registry there is a key, which we don't use, is it created by default or an special action of AI?

- Because I didn't know which strings I've to translate for the dialogs I deleted our own dictionaries and created a new one (like in your how to). Fine! Further I see some old crap and removed it from the project.
But 2 entries I don't know where these at the AI-UI. Can someone tell me where I can find and remove it?

- At last I noticed that AI after a normal install create a folder under the "ProgramData". But I don't have such a entry at "Files and Folders". So, for what is it?

I'm not sure why you encountered this behavior.

Can you please send us the .AIP (project file) to support at advancedinstaller dot comso we can investigate it? If it contains confidential information you can send us a small test project which reproduce this behavior.

I'm not sure why you get this behavior. I've tested your scenario but I cannot replicate it. Can you please give us a step-by-step scenario?

Please give us some time to investigate this and we'll get back to you as soon as we have a conclusive answer.

This is happening when the “Enhanced User Interface” is set on “Always(install, uninstall and maintenance)” option in a multilingual package. Since this is part of the default installation process you don't have to delete it.
