Custom buttons with hover and active states

Hello,

I am trying to make a complete custom looking installer. So far, it's going well, except for the buttons.

A button has 3 standard states.
1. A normal state - it's just sitting there, nothings happening.
2. A hover state - When a mouse hovers a button, the colors changes a bit.
3. An active state - When the user clicks, the button goes down a bit.

So I made 3 pictures with the 3 different states. Now, I can't find how to implement this in Advanced Installer.

Is there a guide or tutorial for this? Or can someone explain to me how I can fix this?

Hi Guido and welcome to our forums,

We have an "Image Button" control that you can use. At the linked URL you can find more details.

To add it just go to Dialogs page, on the dialog you need the button and from our Toolbox, in the toolbar, add the Image Button control.

Thanks for your reply. I have figured out how to do it. What I recommend though is that you post a picture of img_button.png on the page where your link sent me. So it is easier to understand. Thanks for your support!

My pleasure Guido and thanks for the suggestion, I will make sure is included in the user guide ASAP.

Until then for those of you reading this thread, the image "img_button.png" can be found installation folder of Advanced Installer from your machine.
