Create easily accessable folders

Hi all,
Fairly new to this but been reading a ton...

Our per-machine installation needs to create some folders that are going to be repositories for things like photos and videos. We need the folders to be visible without any special user interaction, so the CommonAppDataFolder really isn't a solution. And, from what I've read, placing them in the APPDIR folder isn't recommended either. The structure we're looking for is [company]\[product]\Resources, with a few subfolders below Resources. We'd also like Resources to be a shared folder that would be accessible by any machine or user, without having to use a login/pass. Any ideas?

Why isn't this folder good? It is shared for all users and does not require any credentials, so it fits your requirements.
