1. Create a shortcut, set working directory to wwwroot.
2. try to change to something else, the shourtcut will stays in the wwwroot map

Hello RIchard,
The Working Directory from the Internet Shortcut Properties Dialog dialog represents the location set as current folder for the browser, before opening the URL.
If you want your shortcut be installed in a different location you can add it in another folder from "Files and Folders" page using a drag-and-drop operation into related folder.
You can take a look on the Paths of the folders in the “Files and Folders” page article.
