Will new version of my product support old version?

Hi All!

I was using ver 2.4.1 and now upgraded to 4.7.2.
Now my question is , If i install my product using new ver's MSI, Will it support my product which was installed by using old ver's MSI?

I mean, if my product ver 11.2.3 has been installed by using ver 2.4.1's MSI
now, if any user want tp install my product ver 11.2.4 by using ver 4.7.2's MSI, Then what will happen?

Will it be installed over old version or just give an error?

Can anyone plz confirm it?

If you manage the upgrade correctly the old package will be uninstalled before installing the new one. To manage an upgrade do like this: open the current AIP project (11.2.3) and use "File->Save As" option (if you want to keep the old version of your project). Increase the product version (to 11.2.4) and choose yes when AI ask you to generate a new product code.
