Unfortunately I don't have another clean machine to try to replicate my issue with the AI 10.9 VS Extension.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled AI 10.9, but this didn't fix the issue: only the 'Name' field is shown while the 'Location', 'Solution' and 'Solution name' fields aren't.

As you can see in my screenshots above, they are showing when I select 'Setup and Deployment' > 'Installshield Ltd Edition'.

So finally there's just something wrong with AI 10.9 VS Extension.

I would be grateful if this could be fixed.

I'll send you one of my VS 2012 projects by email.

Re: New Visual Studio Project

In the meantime I have found a solution for my system 8-)

1) Start Visual Studio 2012 as an administrator.
2) File > Add > New Project > Advanced Installer Project

instead of File > New Project > AI Project (that was not working!)

This is working for me now.

Important is to 1) start VS as an administrator and 2) go to File > Add > New Project.

Hello,

The Visual Studio 2012 solution import issue was fixed in version 10.9.1 of Advanced Installer released on February 10th, 2014.

All the best,
