Kazakh translations

Hello,

I see in this post from 2005 that the Kazakh language is supposed to be covered. However, as of v10.9.1 it is still not a registered language. Is there any progress on this, or do I need to find someone who can do translate the fill in a Kazakh AIL file for me?

If I need to take care of it, is there an easy way to determine the minimum set of strings I need to have translated for an installer? I have the Pro version of Advanced Installer, so I know some items like Java, firewall configuration, and SharePoint definitely don't apply to me. The AIL file generated is over 7000 lines long, and I'd prefer not to have someone translate a whole bunch of strings we don't even need.

Thanks,

Brandon

Re: Kazakh translations

Hello Brandon,

Unfortunately, we didn't have the Kazakh language translated. However, we are looking for translators for these languages. If you are interested, please contact us at support at advancedinstaller dot com.

In order to achieve that, you can take a look on the New Language article with related information for hints and guidance. This tutorial will guide you step by step into the translation of the MSI strings into a new language and using them to build MSI packages in the language.

Please let us know if you have other questions.
