Option to NOT create .back.aip backup files

I use version control software, I don't need Advanced Installer creating backup files all over the place. How can I prevent Advanced Installer from automatically creating .back.aip files every time I modify a .aip file?

Specs:

* Advanced Installer 9.5
* Windows 7 Professional x64
* MacBook Pro 2009

That usually happens when you use a newer version of Advanced Installer to edit a project created with an older one and you cannot disable it.

Well some of use source control tools, making such old school backups unnecessary. There should be a way to disable it. Please keep this on the enhancements list. We are GRATEFUL for the frequent, relatively bug-free product updates, believe me. But this means we are cleaning up these backup files on a regular basis. Thank you.

I will second this. I find this very annoying and came across this post because I was looking for a way to disable it. We use version control so it's pointless.
