Trial Extension

Hi, We have recently started exploring Advanced Installer. I am wondering is there is a way to allow Trial Extension via our application. When we add license support in our application (http://www.advancedinstaller.com/user-g ... naged.html), only Trial, Register, and Buy options are shown. There is no option to extend Trial license? Any advise on how to add that option. Thanks! (Apologies if it posted in wrong sub-forum).

Hello Anish and welcome to Advanced Installer forums,

Thank you for your interest in Advanced Installer.

In order to achieve this you can enable our "Allow the user to request trial period extension" option from "Licensing page -> Trial -> Options" tab.

I get that. I have couple of follow up questions:

1) Where/When/How does a user of our application enter the trial extension code. At no point I can see a place to enter the code to extend trial.
2) If we are developing a custom GUI for trial/registration is there a DLL function we can to enter trial extension code?

Hello Anish,

After your trial period will expire on Trial dialog the user will get three options: "Extend Trial", "Register" and "Buy". If he will choose to extend trial a new dialog will be displayed where the user can enter an extension code or can choose to contact you by mail or on your web site.

I'm afraid we don't have support for this.
