Uninstall dialog when using a multilanguage Installer

Hi all,

i have created a multilanguage installer package and used the option the display a language selection dialog for language selection.
Furthermore i have checked the checkbox "Automatically use previous version's language if installed" in the Translations tab.

Everythink works fine and the whole installation process is translated in the choosen language.
But when i want to remove the software with the windows "Remove programm" dialog the uninstall ui is in our default language (german).
We use a custom installer theme. This will also be used for the uninstall process but unfortunately only in german.

Is there anything i am missing?

Thank you in advance
Sebastian

Re: Uninstall dialog when using a multilanguage Installer

Hello Sebastian,

Most likely this is happening because you are using a different Product Code for each language.
So, can you please choose the same ProductCode for German and other languages and see if the behavior still persist? In order to achieve that, you can go in the Product IDs tab from the Product Details page.

Please let me know if that helped.

Best regards,
Dan

Hi Dan,

thank you very much.
Setting the same product code for each language solved my problem.
