Custom Action fields erasing when name of action is changed

Hi, I've noticed next problem:

• 1. From Custom Actions Page add a new Custom Action (for ex. "Set installer property")
  2. An entry with name "Set installer property" will appear in a list on Existing Custom Actions tab.
  3. Write some data in Property and/or Value fields.
  4. Change the name of your Custom Action (currently it has "Set installer property" name) to another one.
  5. Select again your newly renamed Custom Action and you'll see that Property and Value fields are again set to default values.

It would be nice if renaming woudn't (just after creation) cause data fields erasing back to default values.

I'm not sure why you encountered this behavior. I've tested your scenario but I cannot reproduce it.
Can you please send us the .AIP (project file) to support at advancedinstaller dot com so we can investigate it? If it contains confidential information you can send us a small test project which reproduce this behavior.

Also, can you please tell us if you can replicate the behavior in a new project?

I've made a little video, captured from my desktop, so you can see what's actually is going on there and send it to address provided.
I don't think that sending you a project will help somehow, because it's a behavior issue of user interface (I think so). But if you'll still need it I send it tou you.

Indeed, I've replicate the behavior based on your video.
This seems to be an Advanced Installer issue. A fix will be available in a future version of Advanced Installer, thank you very much for your help and for bringing it to our attention.
