Note that that any other theme than the Classic one requires the Enhanced User Interface to be enabled. In your case, the Enhanced User Interface is only enabled during the Install.

So, can you please set the Enhanced User Interface to run Always (install, uninstall and maintenance) in the Theme -> Settings Tab and see if the behaviour still persists?

Hi Frank,

To change the display text of a CheckBox control, you can edit the Display field from the control properties, as in the below image:

Regarding the error that you get "This package can only be run from a bootstrapper", I'm not able to replicate it on my end. Also, it should not be displayed. In order to further investigate this, can you please send me the .AIP(project file) to support at advancedinstaller dot com? If it contains confidential information you can send us a small test project which reproduce this behavior.

Indeed, the Dialog Editor feature is available starting with the Enterprise edition of Advanced Installer.

If you have a lower edition of Advanced Installer then you can upgrade it to Enterprise. The price is roughly the difference between the two license types. Note that we have a Christmas promotion with a 25% discount. From the Customer Information page you can review all the information regarding your Advanced Installer license. You can upgrade your license, extend or renew your Maintenance Plans.
