Patch Build Fails

I'm getting the following error when trying to create a patch build:

Building package: D:\Build-Output\patches\testing\<blank>.msp
Running MSI patch compatibility tests... done.
Creating PCP database... done.
Creating MSP... error.
Exception - Reason: MsiMsp.exe failed to create the patch file.

Build finished because an error was encountered.

Not very helpful, I know. However, if I log in using a different account on the same computer, it works. My normal account is an administrator on the machine, but not a domain admin. The account that works is a domain admin. We tried promoting my account to a domain admin briefly, but that didn't work. We deleted my profile on the machine, and that still didn't work (account was still a domain admin). Any suggestions? I assume there's some permissions problem somewhere that we're missing, but my network administrator swears they had the same rights.

Hi,

Please send us an archived test project with dummy files reproducing this behavior to support at advancedinstaller dot com. The archive must include the .aip files for both images (target and upgraded) and the .aip for the patch module.

Hi,

We cannot reproduce this behavior on our test machine! The test package you have sent us builds successfully under an administrator account.

Try to reproduce the problem on another computer (under an account similar to yours) and let us know if the problem persists.
